Recently, the Zhejiang University Alumni Enterprise Visit and Alumni Children's Career Experience Activity warmly commenced at Sichuan Hong'an Base Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. in Chengdu. Over 60 ZJU alumni parents and their children gathered, immersing themselves in the charm of technology and completing an extraordinary journey of growth amidst laughter and joy.

As the host of this event, Chen Guoxin, founder of Hong'an Technology and a ZJU alumnus, extended a warm welcome to the visiting alumni families. Drawing from his own entrepreneurial experience, he vividly recounted the company's development journey since its establishment in 2017: from focusing on the niche field of laser clearing technology to growing into a national high-tech enterprise with over 30 authorized patents, serving State Grid and China Southern Power Grid; from the first-generation laser clearing device to the eighth-generation product achieving a halving in size and a doubling in efficiency, each step exemplifies the ZJU spirit of "Seeking Truth and Pioneering New Trails." The children listened with rapt attention, their eyes sparkling with yearning for technological innovation.

In the most anticipated hands-on session, technology and fun blended perfectly. Under the guidance of professionals, the children personally operated Hong'an Technology's star product—the "laser cannon"—aiming at balloons. With a crisp "pop," they intuitively felt the scientific principle of photothermal conversion. The quadrupedal robot dog equipped with a laser clearing device won countless fans. Through remote control, the children witnessed the miraculous scene of the robot dog aiming precisely and working efficiently, getting a close-up touch of the technological power of the "electric power scalpel." Furthermore, in the fun optical experiment zone, interactive experiences like refraction, reflection, diffraction of light, pinhole imaging, and light-shadow changes made abstract scientific knowledge easy to understand.

"Wow, lasers are so powerful, they can even protect power grid safety!" "The robot dog is so cool! I want to be an engineer when I grow up!"... The children's innocent words expressed their gains and insights. Parents unanimously agreed that this event not only ignited their children's scientific dreams through practice but also passed on the ZJU spirit through communication among alumni, making it a rare parent-child growth experience.

This visit activity was both a continuation of the fellowship among ZJU alumni and a vivid practice of scientific enlightenment. Hong'an Technology, with its independently innovated core technologies, opened the door for children to explore the future.
